GDPR and Data Protection

From 25th May 2018 GDPR became effective in all EU member states. This has changed the way that schools manage personal data including how we protect it. We have updated our privacy notices and policies to ensure we are compliant with GDPR regulations. We have a Data Protection Policy written in line with GDPR - see Equa Mead policies.

Consent forms

When your child is admitted to our school parents / guardians are required to sign consent forms regarding use of our IT systems, use of photographic images etc. These remain valid unless withdrawn by the parent / guardian. However if we intend to change the way we use any of our consents you will be informed in writing. 

We kindly remind parents and guardians that they can, at any time, withdraw their consent for any future collection, use or disclosure of images of their child. This may also be the case should you wish to change your withdrawal to consent eg; if you withdrew consent but wish your child to now be included in class trip photos published on the school website. If you wish to be reminded of your responses or wish to change your consent / withdrawal please contact Mrs Jo Coles, School Business Manager or call the admin office on 01225 753230
